Kasauli

Being bored from spending just another uneventful Sunday in Chandigarh, we went on a trip to Kasauli. Basically, Kasauli is just another Hill Station built by the British, but it's a different world just 1 hr away from Chandigarh. Instead of palm trees and 24 degrees, we found pines, monkeys, British cottages, many military areas and an amazing view over Chandigarh and the foothills of the Himalayas. Unfortunately, Monkey Temple was already closed (and you'd better not start a fight with armed soldiers), so we went to some viewpoints and a Catholic Church instead. It still feels weird to take off the shoes before entering the church, but that's how they do it here.
